Happy New Year Postcard from Housefam in Tokyo, 2018
Hai Bil and Willy,
I am so happy when I got the new year postcard 2018 from Satoko san in Tokyo.
Hopefully 2018 gonna be a great year, good fortune, and a lot of happiness.
I hope one day Satoko san family will visit me in Indonesia or vice versa.
She and I have the same hobby, visiting underwater.
BTW I have been joined JENESYS Program Special Invitation for Selected Students. Satoko san and her family was accepted me at her house, and she attended my farewell party at Sophia University.
Among program alumnae plan to arrange a reunion in Penang, Malaysia this year. I am so excited after several years never meet my classmate, roommate, TravelMate. Insyallah.
Again, I was so lucky being there.
So, please prepare yourself to get the exchange opportunity or scholarship.
Japan – East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths
The Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS)
Programme was initiated by Japan the 2nd East Asia Summit (EAS) held on 15 January 2007 in Cebu, Philippines. The Programme is financially supported by
the Government of Japan through the JENESYS Programme Fund. The
JENESYS is a five-year Programme (August 2007-July 2012), which includes annual exchange of about 6000 youths from the EAS Countries to Japan and vice versa. The 16 EAS Countries comprise the 10 ASEAN Member States (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines,
Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam), Australia, China, Japan, India, Republic of Korea and New Zealand.
The JENESYS Programme consists of the following three main components:
a. Dispatch of students and youths from the EAS Countries to Japan (short
term: 1-2 weeks, mid/long term: 1-2 months to 1 year);
b. Dispatch of Japanese youths to other East Asian Countries; and
c. Youth interaction (e.g. youth networking and East Asia Student Conference).
The overall objective of the JENESYS Programme is to help lay the foundation for a stronger solidarity and closer friendships among EAS countries by promoting mutual understanding of the future generation of the region.
